Super
fast one today…NW wind swell Friday
in with some smaller waist high surf. A
small steep S will pass most of SD County Sat
with knee/waist high in SD but the far N. County/OC and LA should see some
bigger waist/chest+ surf. Look for surf
to pick up Sun and into Monday with a very long period SW
ground swell. Surf should make it to the
chest/shoulder range with more west in it so more west and south facing beaches
will show. That swell holds thru Tues, Wed and noticeably tapers off Thurs.
Looks
like continuing AM and late PM marine layer with some sunshine hoping to peek
thru midday. The coast might just stay
socked in after Friday though. Air temps
only in the mid 60s. Calm winds Fri AM
with light/moderate west winds by midday and then some gusty west winds by
midday Sat becoming calm again for Sun. Still
some fairly good swinging tides with the low mid-morning pushing to a medium
high in the mid-afternoon and back down to a medium low an hour or so after
sunset.
Gotta
blaze…more updates over the weekend as we start to see more of that new SW!
