Super quickie report/forecast…more tomorrow…
We’re looking at more smaller NW wind swell making its way down our coastline with just the last dregs of the SW groundswell. Surf looks to pick back up over the next few days from the waist high we had today to waist with occasional chest for Tues and more chest high for Wed as the swell peaks. It’s all very shorter period stuff so not the juicy clean stuff we had over the weekend. How nice was THAT? Plenty of wind swell waves thru Thurs morning and then it starts to back off midday. More SW and NW wind swell on the way…more manana!
Lots of thick marine layer/dense fog for the next couple of days. The good news is that it keeps the winds down and things cool at the coast for a while before the clouds burn off and the sunshine shows up. Things cool down significantly with mid to low 70s along the coast through the weekend. Humidity drops a little too! YAY! Water temps in the mid/high 60s in N. County and mid/lower 60s south of La Jolla .
